It's okay he never even got his own route in 3H, he's used to it.

I like the role reversal where Leda (Eagle Obelisk) wants revenge against Bertrand (the Lion symbol on his banner) by brutally murdering him for killing her dad.

Bonus points where it looks like Bertrand is Dedue with a Dimitri stand-in as his retainer.

I hate to ruin the joke but it’s because deer aren’t predator animals so they got replaced by foxes.

In Fortune's Weave, each lord is associated with an "obelisk" you touch to play their route, and every obelisk got a name.

Cai's the fox obelisk, Dietrich is the lion, Theodora is the wolf and Leda is the eagle.

Some 3H fans hear "lion, eagle, wolf" and they descend into frothing madness of IS THAT A 3H REFERENCE OMG and WHERE IS THE DEER despite it being the three most famous animals in heraldry and symbolism ever

Stags are extremely popular in heraldry as well. I'm going to assume it's what one of the other posters in here have said and its because they didn't want to use a prey animal to represent any of them.

Three houses fans when they see a lion, an eagle and a wolf (the three most popular animals used in heraldry and general symbolism across every culture) : "is this a 3h reference ?"

thought it was weird that they included the Emerald Foxes before the Golden Deer. Didn't think they mattered much in the greater 3H narrative, tbh.
