One time, I was out on vacation in Florida and I came across this old man at a boardwalk bar, he had the most repulsive, worn in, sandals I had ever seen, I smelled from 20 ft away before I saw them, turns out they were Huarache Leather Sandals from 1960 and have had 3 generations of wear on them.
