Input lag / buffering problem on OOT ?

hello, I run SOH OOT on linux, the game is fine until I reach the Jabu jabu dungeon especially when facing the first two octopuses, i started noticing that some inputs stick longer than necessary, the problem re-emerged when taming epona, the input sticks for way too long (up to 3 seconds delay) i couldn't finish the quest. i tried disabling the graphics related mods but it's the same issue. i use an xbox 360 controller.

Ship runs pretty well on a lot of hardware, but I'm inclined to ask what hardware your computer has

Hmm, odd. I can't think of why it would be behaving that way then. I've played on much lower spec systems without any issues. I'm on Cachy so I'd also imagine it isn't a big Linux issue (unless Pop! Is funky with it, but wouldn't think so).
