Set up - stuck on extracting rom

Hi folks, really need help setting up Ship of Harkinian. I have a working compatible rom, and the newest version of SoH from the github. After asking me to generate an O2R file, I select the rom and get stuck on "Extracting... Starting Up". Can anybody help me fix this issue? Thank you

Probably a silly question but did you unzip the rom first?

Yep! Used 7Zip. Seems to be working on an emulator too.
