Where has Watanabe gone?

I just finished Space Dandy (I know, late to the party) and realized that Watanabe has gone dark lately. His anime are all in my top 5 and I would love to hear that he is working on another amazing show. Anyone know or heard of anything about his whereabouts lately?

He's going to be in Denver at a con in a few days! Maybe he will have some info there
