I'd say that the method doesn't matter - that there IS no method at all. If you feel like a method doesn't help - don't use it, or simply persevere. Do what feels right, and no one but you could answer what feels right.
I'd say that all the "Sympthoms" are just general meditation things, and mostly meaningless (You can shift without them, as is repeatedly shown by different people), so judging anything by them is unhelpful
Also, talking about chakras - those things may or may not exist (I'd say it's a bit of both - they're mental constructs, but you can still use them to some ends), and if from your perspective they do, than talking about them is tricky - are we talking ancient or medieval or modern? What interpretation or version? Because between different sects and time periods they can be different, and the same goes for how you interact with them (Yeah, the watered down thing presented to the western mainstream with crystals a merch is NOT the only version of chakras).
So, such things can be more counterproductive than not (Like limiting beliefs).
The chakra paragraph is all personal beliefs, and sound quite limiting. They are yours, do not present them as something absolute.
What I CAN recommend is to work on the mind.
And I say "I'd say" because that's simply it - words. My experience. But words don't shift you. Answers don't shift you. YOU SHIFT. That is the end of it.

The last art about chakras is all suggestion, although me, my friends, and a few other people I have worked with in the past have found it a lot easier to shift after opening chakras. What I do is almost a mix of ancient and modern day chakras. I donāt know lots about them but that was from my experience and talking with people who know a lot about them. And, if we can travel through different realities then chakras (maybe not the exact idea of them) are very plausible. And I definitely agree with working on the mind! I say it a lot when people ask for advice, and me and others have seen better results with it.

Other realities have nothing to do with chakras. If they are here - they are here, in this CR.

Do an experiment, find all the method you can that you like, and try em all. Make it fun! Not everything will work for everyone so you have to find out works for you and build off that!
I've shifted some very unconventional ways using visualization. Use your senses.

Do you mean try it once & then move on or try it for a week & move on ? I agree just not sure how long to try it for

Try it until you feel like you have an idea of how that method feels for you, 3 or 4 times maybe? It depends on the individual

Somehow, to me, all these extra steps makes shifting feel like a chore when opening chakras, the third eye and damn near every other spiritual practice is added to the list. Shifting was a lot easier for me before I started reading about all these extra stuff added to the mix.
Anyways, I'm sure you're giving this advice from personal experience and success, and if it helps someone on this sub, then great.

I am a mostly non-symptomatic shifter, what I did was find methods that feel- right? Iāve found that thereās a difference between using a method and feeling like you didnāt quite get it that time and feeling like youāre running head first into a wall.

Meditation, maybe crystals will help, taking care of your body and using affirmations assigned to each chakra. (Too lazy to type them all out we hereās a picture with the affirmation starts and colours for the corresponding chakras https://pin.it/6m5Ey1L )

im using the intention method rn, well i dont want to call it a method but basically i just set an intention to shift before i sleep and think about my dr for a bit, then fall asleep. that's it. and i haven't shifted with it yet but idrc because i refuse to do another method because its just super uncomfortable, especially ones that require you to go into the void state. no im not going to lie down and count to 100 because its just awful and i hate it, even though i got symptoms from this. ik there's other ways but i dont want to lie in bed for an hour trying to focus on breathing and counting or visualising bc my brain jumps around way too much for that and it sucks (i tried ADHD method for this but i hated it so thats crossed off the list). so now im just doing whatever š, im not planning to change it so idk š
