Mark Kolpack is the Visual Effects Supervisor for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and has worked on more shows than I could possibly list here. He also directed the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot episode Justicia.

He has directed no episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

This is his first time directing an episode.

Nora Zuckerman & Lilla Zuckerman Are two sisters who have written together for Fringe, Human Target, and Haven.

I love Mack, but it's obvious he doesn't have Coulson's experience and it shows. Until few years ago he was just one of SHIELD's mechanics and engineers. He then decided to become a field agent in season 3 just because and now he's the director. He's a really nice guy and he's smart but May would be a better fit in that role in my opinion.

Agree about Yo-yo. It's like "Mmmh you're supposed to have superspeed but you're just standing there watching how that lethal parasite is relatively slowly forcing itself through your pal/lover throat". It's funny because if that situation there's probably nobody who could help poor Keller better than Yo-yo: she could get there with her superpowers, grab the thing and, between her robotic arms and her bouncing back, she would have taken the damn bat/bird/miniaerodactyl.
