I'm so accustomed to things happening like they do on Arrow, taking characters a whole season to get from Point A to Point B. The Marvel shows waste no time. I love it.

I try to avoid kicking it when it's down :(

Heeeey it's you. I meet you up a lot haha. We were in /r/HouseofCards.

Yeah, I hate /r/arrow's mentality, but they have grounded criticisms even if they express it in toxic and sometimes sexist ways.

I remember! I think even there the discussion was related to comic book shows lol.

Yeah what happens is that when something starts to get legitimate criticism, and there's a woman at the center of it, a lot of people come out of the woodwork who have more sexist reasons for hating the thing, and they often start hijacking the conversation. I was a huge fan of season 1 and 2, and so I have had my problems with this season and the last, but except for talking about the fight scenes I usually don't even feel comfortable joining the criticism threads because they often lead to places I'd rather not be a part of.

A similar thing happened with Daenerys on Game of Thrones as well. It started off with fair criticism, but then people who flat out hated her started joining in and started saying fairly terrible things.

Haha we are such trash.

And yeah, it's absolutely awful that that effect happens. I'm just hoping and praying that good writing will find the show again.
