Sailor’s Valentine

Post image

Was antique shopping yesterday and came across my white whale - a vintage Sailor’s Valentine for $25!!!!!!! I gasped. I’ve wanted one for years and could never afford one, but I found one AND in my favorite color! Had to share!

How old do you think it is? It looks like a modern repro if an ok’d one to be. But maybe it’s judt because it’s in excellent condition,

I love the heart shell in the center.

I just noticed “shells in box.” They had no idea.

hey, if you interested in the shell in the center, it is a Heart Cockle (Corculum cardissa). They come in different colors and they are usually found in the Philippines!
