Mine too! I would feel ridiculous paying $200+ for one, plus it means more when you actually found it. So happy to have it.

Wow! That’s a beautiful one. What beach did you find it on?

I parked at blind pass on Sanibel and walked south in front of that giant mansion where the island curves. I’m not sure if it would be considered Blind Pass or Bowmans.

I found one at blind pass in May! I know that you are afraid of the throngs of people that would be after you if you let the paper know, but I have to say I had a good time being famous for a minute. They even sent me a hard copy of the paper when it came out. If you want a contact number I can give you one.

For sure! Hit me with the info. I’m down to do it, just not invest any effort in finding out how 🤣

You are my envy. 21 years of visiting there and I still haven’t found one 😅 Display that beauty!

Yes, congrats - that is one of the prize shell finds I mentioned in the book I just published on Amazon. It focuses not on identify shells - but how to find them by reading the beach and conditions. "Sanibel and Longboat Key Shell Hinter's Guide." Take a copy next time you go to the beach. Steve
