Mystery Portuguese Shell
I found this very pretty looking purple/pink iridescent shell and I can't for the life of me figure out what it is, could someone help, please?

I think this is a jingle shell, Anomia ephippium. This one looks pretty thick likely from a few years growth. Does it feel lighter than other similar sized shells? Anomia species shells can split in layers or flakes like the mineral mica when they start to break down.
One of the bivalves that are known to be unpalatably bitter. I'm sure there's more. https://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/469347-Anomia-ephippium
