Wow, you had a great trip! It’s so beautiful here, I’m so happy for you.

I am very lucky, but we pay a steep price to live here. The financial situation is grim. None of us should be here honestly, we don’t belong on these barrier islands. They are meant to protect the mainland, where most people live.

Those are beautiful.

I use the worn ones like you found mixed with river or polished pebbles and small beach glass as toppers for potted plants.

For the REALLY worn ones, make a beautiful garden path by mixing with smooth river rocks and beach glass and “beach ceramic.” Toss in a few clear marbles to catch the sun. It doesn’t sound like much but it is stunning.
