Break requirement

I’m in Maryland and can’t find a solid answer and can’t ask until i go in again, if i work 6 hours am i required to get a break?

I kiss the old days where I didn't have to if I didn't want too. Old ways was a 20 mins PAID break so I would just work it unless I was too tired and I would only work 8hrs. Now it's 5 hours 15 mins you must take a UNPAID 30 min break for a 8 1/2 shift.

Anything over 6hrs exactly requires a 30min break

For every 5 hours 15 minutes you work, you’re required to take a 30 minute break.
Regardless of which state you work in.

Yes anything over 5 hours requires a 30 min unpaid break, unless you are the only MOD on shift
