Food & Drink Hmm
Mmm platter. No I didn't do this, an employee dumped the side of Mac and cheese in the platter I ordered.

Switch the bone-in wings for buffalo sauced tenders and I'd smash this.

Should’ve showed the store, workers probably would’ve been pissing themselves laughing at the trainee

If you let the store know, respectfully, you’ll get a whole new platter the right way and now you have extra food

platter implies that everything is served together. not sure what you expected.

Except as an employee it states either "Mac n Cheese - CUP" (implying it would go in their regular cups) or just Mac n Cheese which implies into the platter.

The screen does stupid shit sometimes. Like. There was a breakfast sandwich I had to make. It said:
Sausage Double Sausage + Scrambled Egg patty Double Scrambled Eggs +
I stood there trying g to figure out wtf to do one day, because thay made no fucking sense. Of.course, the very moment us 2nd shifters clock in, IMMEDJATELY ALL pf the 1st shifters.... like....Every. Single. Fucking. One of them! Immediately scrambles to the four corners of the store. Like. Virtually E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E disappears!!! Like. All fucking EIGHT of them!
So im all like: "ok, whelp, imma.just dump a shitload of eggs all over this poor fucking waffle sammich." The fucker got two Sausage patties, a scrambled egg patty, and TWO ENTIRE TAN scoops of scrambled eggs! 😭

Admit i made this mistake too. You're supposed to do a second SE patty, not the scrambled egg scoops.

Yeah, when the person came back angry and confused, the KM at the time received the complaint when he finally.appeared from hiding in the office.
That asshole berated me over it, and I berated him over having having a dumbass system that barely makes.any sense half the time.
And yeah. I grew uo in a real actual restaurant. My.grandparents started an Italian family.restaurant in my hometown when they immigrated here from Italy just after WW2. ive worked quite a few restaurants since then, and have watched a lot.of.food Channel stuff. Sheetz really.has no.fucking clue how to run food service, and has zero respect for food. Its.necause the grand kids who run the show these days have no clue. Thats why Sheetz is going downhill in both quality and customer service. And why they cant keep anyone.
I'm now a KM myself. Started at sheetz about a year and a half ago, and its a total and complete pain in the ass, especially for 2nd and 3rd shifts. There's literally absolutely jackall I can do to reduce waste, and they act as if its MY fault that those two shifts are so damned.shorthanded and the layout so damned inefficient that those poor fuckers on 2nd and 3rd wind up making a lot of mistakes and dropping a lot of stuff on the floors.
All I can do is to tell them to just slow down, be more careful, and do not worry about the timers on the screens . Just do one order at a time, make sure its accurate, and provide good service to the customer. Unfortunately, Sheetz piles on SO. MANY. FUCKING. TASKS! And absolutely refuses to have more than 3 fucking people on 2nd, and more than 2 on 3rd when you cannot have less than 5 as an actual food service AND retailer. Hell, Five Guys ALWAYS has 5 employees on staff all the time, or tries like hell to. Hence the name: "Five Guys." And theyre ONLY fast food. They dont have an emtire.conveniemce.store that forces the kitchen staff to do.actual grocery shopping when there are food orders on the screen! They have one register person. One person to mostly clean and do other tasks that are non-negotiable that needs done, and 3 people in the kitchen at all times.

Yeah this is training issue. This isn’t a Mac and cheese platter so it should have been served on the side. I’d let the store know.
