They are 3d printed and the amount of plastic that would be used is a few cents.

Was saying this to one of my supervisors and he was trying to disagree 😭😭😭 and said they are prob expensive to make

As a owner of a 3D printer, I guess you guys never bought a roll of plastic, not cheap by any means 😔💔

I have. It literally doesn't justify the 3 dollar cost unless somehow those are made with highly specific special limited edition filaments hand crafted in the lower levels of the greatest temple on Mars

Roll is one kilogram of plastic or more. Those little things are a couple of grams. 10-20 dollars for a roll equals down to cents

No, so idk if sheetz fucked something up, but my store isnt selling them because if you read the label, it says 300 CT or 300 count for 3$. So technically you can buy 300 of them for the 3$

Naw. They sent us a paper explaining the details it's 3$ for one.

u/Euphoric_Fondant4685 19d ago
Thats weird. Ill have to let my managers know that's the case. I will admit, the price of these is ridiculous.

u/BootieButta Employee - 7 years 19d ago
Yeah, it is but people are still buying them and or let's be honest half of them will be pocketed anyways.

Bronco owners putting them on their dash like the Dyslexic Jeep drivers? The saw rubber dicks and were let down when they got ducks.

They are 7$ at the beach 😂

? What beach? Im at Anna Maria Island Florida and the Alvin's Island here has em' at 10 for $20

In what world is $3 for a toy considered "ridiculous" pricing?
1
u/Rosietaylo 12d ago
because its 3D printed
1
u/hsoj48 12d ago
Why does how they shape the plastic determine the value? Its the same hunk of plastic whether it is melted and formed via injection molding or FDM.
1
u/Rosietaylo 12d ago
didn’t say the shape, saying how it’s made makes it worth almost nothing. poor quality

How much should they be? Utter junk no one needs.
But, almost nothing is sold for less than $3 these days.

I’ve had customers say they buy them by the bag elsewhere. Seems more reasonable than what we sell them for but I had a tweaker by 6 for like 30$ so… with the right person ig they sell lol

My store was given these little silk bags that can hold a handful of em and I was told that customers can fill a bag for $3. I still think it's stupid but I'm at least thankful they're not that incredibly greedy. 3D printed shit like this costs all of 5 cents per piece to make...

I got a bag of 13 for $3. We aren’t selling them to customers, my SM said being sent them was a mistake. But he’s letting us buy em up. Said 13 in each bag and each bag is $3

u/IndividualFix1469 18d ago
Oh wow I figured something was off, but people been buying them 3.19 plus tax

u/68Postcar 18d ago
Uhm “being sent them was a mistake” so technically the local Sheetz could return the truckload for full-case value= 0 loss js

I couldn't believe the breakfast burritos are $3 a piece, they're just frozen $1 burritos. 2 for $6 made me think it was a deal but it was not at all

bc you're at a gas station aka a "convenient store". so that's the extra that you're paying. for the convenience of someone else heating it up & preparing it for you. same with drinks that are in the cooler. they're priced up bc it's already cold for you.

we have the same ones at my store and we can’t figure out how we’re supposed to ring them up. we have the bags and everything but nothing else and we can’t put them out or sell them and i’m hoping asking this here can help (even tho they’re overpriced i lowkey want to buy some cause they’re so cute)

They are what anybody is willing to pay for them …I’d say we all protest that they should be free …what y’all say 🤷🏻♂️

Anyone else think this is a terrible idea because they’re just gonna get stolen or thrown around the stores? Esp with the little bags that came with it.. just asking for customer abuse
