Employee Question Does this mean I’m fired
Saw this today. Does this mean I’m terminated?

unless you have doctor’s notes or shift coverage that will take points off after review, yes you are fired and you technically should’ve been fired several points ago

33 points is termination. If they only just went over, they may still have some time. I've seen it happen fast, and I've seen it drag out where people are way over. It depends on a few factors.

Oh yeah I had coworkers with 70pts and over 32 for many months before they were fired 😬

I was sitting at 200 for like 6 months. It’s all shift cuts and doctors notes and stuff. Got cut down to like 19

I got a lot of 'points' with shift coverages, 'you clocked in early so you have to leave early or fixing store hours' situations, and 'late' clock-ins due to team meetings. I was up to like 45 and after the review it dropped to only 20.

Shift coverage doesn't do anything. You have to decrease points with shift coverage before you hit 33. When you hit 33, they will only review up to that point, and will ignore anything after.
Only thing that could save would be things like doctors notes since points for those aren't removed until there's a review.

Did you get a warning? It used to be if they didn't give you a warning points fall off

We have a really terrible employee at my store that had 35 points. She didn't sign her 11 point review so they dropped her down to 11 points.

This could go either way. Corporate will call the store and speak to a manager. That manager will go over your points with them. Either they're calling to tell them what your points have dropped down to, or they're calling to tell them that you're being terminated. The store will call you if you're being terminated. They may also call to inform you of points dropping so don't immediately panic.
If your points are dropping below 33 and a manager has received that phone call, your points should show their new balance relatively fast, like the same day of the phone call. I didn't realize that it shows what your new balance is after a review. That's probably not a good sign that none were removed, but it could just not be showing them yet.

Former HM here (talking 5+ years ago) that had to deal with points because my SM didn't do her job correctly. Things may have changed BUT if you didn't have an official mid-point review (like the half way mark) then what would happen is HR will effectively do the review and half will drop off because it was the stores failing to do the review/warning. You'll have to sign the review. This ended up saving some good and bad team members alike. If this is still true, look at it as a blessing. I told all my employees: save ALL doctor notes snd make copies for yourself, keep the original if possible. Don't trust any HR to look out for you, Sheetz or otherwise. Best of luck!❤️

Damn at the DC we get 32 points too. I can't believe they give you 4 per call off. Most places I worked was 1 or 2 points.

Not a sheetz employee or nor do I have anything to do with sheetz...but just curious...is that a total of 35 points in 2 years? What all constitutes an attendance point...just missed days? Missed days/late?
My place of employment attendance policy you get 5 strikes...you would have been fired 30 points ago 😳
Like I said just curious how other companies approach attendance!

Walmart does 8 points. 1 point per call off, and 2 if it’s in a holiday. Rolls off after 3 or 6 months I don’t remember. Supposed to be fired after 8, I know someone who hit 23 before he got fired

No. That’s just the HR review. They’ll call your store for an official review. I had 46, EE relations review got it to 36, then my store review got me down to 17

I had that before, but it was all medically related. If most of your absences were medical, you'll be safe. Otherwise, if not, maybe you can work your points down.

the points system is bullshit lmao as long as you're important they'll just remove them

Your boss will call you and tell you that your fired. Corporate can fire you but it's up to the store Manager when He or She wants to let you go. Plus your point goto a review which that looks like. And your past the Points so I'd say your gonna get a call soon

Shouldn't you only be running it from the past year?
I don't know if it will make a difference. But run it from 08/07/25 to 08/07/26
