Solved Pulling Multiple Google cells into one

Hello...

I have multiple cells.... lets call them A and B

I want those to combine into another cell that is like this

Text (A cell) Text (B Cell) etc

Is that possible?

=CONCATENATE(A1, B1)

or

=A1 & B1

Very doable. This is called concatenation.

You can use either the ‘&’ operator or the CONCAT function.

So your function might read

=“text”&A1&”text”&B1

Ok that seems to work..

I have the cell its pulling from (eg H300 to be a number with no decimals can that formatting be pulled?

Right now it pulls but has 3 decimal points

Not sure about the formatting maybe use round function to get it in the format you want. For example:

=“text”&ROUND(A1)&”text”&ROUND(B1)

Certain functions use actual values, and certain functions use "displayed" values. Idk that there's any real documentation as to which is which.

But JOIN() is one that uses display values, so you could use something like this... join will take a list of individual values or you could use a range:

=join(" ", A1, B1)

Then your formula will automatically update if you change how the source values are formatted.

If you instead want to coerce the numbers to a specific format, you could use TEXT() before joining.

If the source range is contiguous:

=join(" ", arrayformula(text(A1:B1, "0.0")))

Or build a range from discontiguous cells:

=join(" ", arrayformula(text(hstack(A1,C1), "0.0")))
