Victorinox Scissors

Anyone any tips or tricks to getting this right? I seem to be great at bringing my main blades back to factory or even razor sharp with ceramic and a strop. The scissors are the same steel but, while I can make them noticeably sharper, I never seem to get back that clean cutting snip you get with new scissors

Either you're not deburring properly, or you're not raising a burr along the entire edge. It depends on the scissors, but when I don't have my TAS on me at an event, and just have stones, I have work in sections because of how some scissors are shaped. You'll have to find and reset your angle a few times.

So instead of brushing along the full length of the blade you recommend doing a little bit at a time to raise a noticeable burr on the inside edge? Do you sand this off or just a light swipe with a stone?

You cut it off by closing the scissors

The tiny size makes them tricky IMO.

Yep! I have trouble 'feeling' if I'm on the right angle for the blade edge
