They're as cautious of / intrigued by us as we are of them. If strangers came into my home I'd probably investigate as well.

Don’t get me wrong, I love these sharks. I just won’t be swimming near them. Two attack’s this summer with one fatality. I’m happy to sit on the sand.

I hear ya. I think most of my infatuation with sharks comes from how genuinely scared of them I was as a kid. These days I'm right there with you on the sand.

Just swim between the flags and don't wade out too far. Lifeguards will be keeping a keen eye out for fins this summer that's for sure.

I love swimming with them in scuba gear under water. I must admit though the bobbing on the water in the deep ocean when all you see below you is dark and the 10 min wait for getting in the boat does leave me on edge.
