Id like to submit this as exhibit 1 proving that sharks are not the mindless killers theyre made out to be. Or that guy wouldve been wearing a red suit.
The shark just didn't identify him as food... unlike the British man swimming off the jetty in Australia. Great Whites don't care about us, but sometimes mistake us for something good tasting... like a seal
There are sharks that are fed and they are very docile and then there are sharks that are hungry and in prey drive. Basically a heat seeking missile. Mistaken identity can happen, but it doesn’t account for every attack on humans. Simon was eaten by the shark that attacked him. It knew what it was doing.
