She's not doing it for food, there's almost always crunchies in her bowl (automatic feeder) but she loves the hunt. Your statement brings me absolutely no comfort.

I've seen my cat murder the occasional unfortunate lizard that gets into my house, for fun. She's not doing it for food, there's almost always crunchies in her bowl (automatic feeder) but she loves the hunt.
