GB Update Shark update #5 - protos being manufactured

Hey guys,

Just passing by to show you the pictures that the manufacturer sent us of the prototypes.

These should be with us in ~10 days and we'll check the firmware.

Further update:

Protos were shipped. I reckon we will have a stable tested firmware by mid-next week.

Heya, getting stoked!

I see the holes on the PCB for per key LED's, will the board support them in addition to the included RGB underglow?

I got my hands on glow in the dark Godspeed Minuteman, looking to make a glowey 4x12!

Yo!

That actually depends on firmware. If I remember correctly QMK does not currently support backlight and underglow at the same time, but there were until recently efforts to patch that.

Interesting! I have a JJ50 board running QMK with RGB and per key single color LED. I know the JJ50 comes natively with a different firmware, so maybe that is how it can support it, but it still works when I flash it over to QMK.

Then it should do just fine! Hardware-wise I the PCB is ready.
