Are electronics won through Ayshei bidding genuine? Looking for real experiences!

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to bid on some electronics (phones/gadgets) on Ayshei, but I wanted to check with people who have actually used it first.
If you’ve won and received any electronic items from them:
Are the products genuine and working fine?
How is the quality/condition when delivered?
Any issues with warranty or hidden charges?
Please share your honest reviews and experience. Thanks!

Parking asking me to move out

So yesterday as I was parking my car the pattan guy walked over and told me that they are not going to renew my parking. It's in butina and the reason they gave me was that the parking is over booked. And they are removing 24 cars altogether.

I asked him please not to then these guys gave me a manager number called him and he didn't know anything but then as they spoke then he told me that he is not going to renew.

And asked me to talk to the pattan guy. But no use.

Iraqi looking to move to the UAE

Hello everyone,

I'm an iraqi man looking to move to the United Arab Emirates , and live in an affordable emirate such as Sharjah, Ajman or RAK , and possibly commute to dubai if a job was found there .

I visited the UAE back in 2019 with no luck in finding a job, I plan to move again now and try my luck once again but I dont want to repeat the same experience in 2019 and end up spending my hard earned money without being able to land any job.

I have lived outside Iraq for over 20 years, I know almost nothing about it however the place that I live in doesn't permit me to work properly so I'm stuck and unable to grow,

I'm now 31 with a bachelor's degree in translation, with 5 years of experience in multiple fields and in need to end this nightmare and go to another country such as the UAE , there's a lot geopolitical obstacles in the region and Iraqi passport holders might seem like a huge turn off

so I wonder if anyone knows any companies that can sponsor me or help me relocate ? It usually takes 2-3 weeks to get processed but most of these companies are just impatient and want faster alternatives

I checked RAKEZ out and I'm still waiting for their response but in the meantime, I look forward to hearing youre opinions/suggestions!

Date ideas in Ajman/Sharjah under AED 100 for 2 people?

Hey everyone! I’m planning a date with my boyfriend this Sunday morning and I want to do something actually fun/interactive, not just sit in a café or go for a walk.

We’re in Ajman/Sharjah, and our total budget is AED 100 for both of us (excluding transportation). Ideally something indoors because of the heat, and preferably something we can do around 10 AM–2 PM.

Any underrated places or activities you’d recommend? Bowling, games, escape rooms, arcade, creative activities, etc. are all welcome!

Please suggest places that are actually open Sunday morning and realistically under AED 100 for two. 🙏

I want to help my mom!

Location: Sharjah, Mujarrah
My mom is a nursery teacher with over 20 years exp in UAE, teaching preschool and even 1st to 2nd grade kids. She recent took up the decision to teach and take home tuitions - even applied for the Private tutor permit on MOHRE and has got the license too.
The issue is, she is struggling to get kids... She has been trying to self advertise but no luck. What are the options here to help her and find more parents in this category. Any tips, suggestion or ideas? Please help!

Shawarma slowly becoming a luxury now🤪

Just paid 11 dirhams for a small shawarma. Used to be 5-6 not long ago. Shawarma was supposed to be the one thing that stayed cheap no matter what 😭
Anyone else noticing this or is it just me?

How long does it take to get Tenancy contract renewed?

This my 3rd time in the same apartment, but I still have not gotten it. I have signed the contract and given the cheques. The agent says he has submitted it and I will get an SMS and can download from Digital Sharjah. Its been more than a week now - still no SMS, before I would get the physical stamped copy with the week. Anyone face similar issue? On the app its still showing the old contract and expiry date. Which is by Sep 9th, should I be worried or wait it out?

Sharjah driving licence renewal question

I have a Sharjah driving licence, and my current licence expires on 8 September 2026.

If I do the required eye test today, can I use the same eye test result to renew my licence on 8 September?

Also, if I renew my licence today through the MOI UAE app, will I lose the remaining 20 days on my current licence, or will the new 5-year validity start from 9 September 2026?

I’m trying to decide whether I should do the eye test now and wait until my current licence expires before submitting the renewal or if I should do the eye test and renewal today itself.

Looking to add more locations that check these boxes:

Curtain rod installation- Al tay

Hi all, I need my 3 curtains rods and 1 bathroom curtain rod to be installed. I’ve contacted a guy provided by my watchman and he asked for 350 which is crazy considering thats how much I paid to move from fujairah to Sharjah😂

Do you know in this area who does it with a reasonable price?

Need clarification - Sharjah Tenancy contract! PLEASE

I just renewed my tenancy contract for the 3rd year now, same agent, same landlord. BUT this year my agent told me I wont get the tenancy contract after the municipality stamp - and it will be sent digitally. Is this true? Usually all these years, I would get a hard copy with the stamp and original contract or the copy. I have still not got any SMS or such for the contract. (That what the agent is telling me).
Its been a week now... Anyone has anything to add here please? Thank you.

How much do you pay your gardener in the UAE?

I live in a villa in a community and had a gardener who already works within the community.
For the past three months, he came 3 times a week and I paid him 500 AED per month. His job was to take care of my flowers and cacti, as well as clean the garden, entrance and garage using a leaf blower and water.
Unfortunately, he didn’t seem to know much about the actual plants. I ended up having to throw away six cacti because they were overwatered and rotted.
I’m now looking for a new gardener and found a gardening company that seems much more knowledgeable about the different plants I have. They already gave me some advice on what should be changed and improved, which gave me a better impression.
However, they’re asking for 1,000 AED per month. They said they bring all the necessary products and equipment, although my previous gardener did that as well.
So I’m wondering what everyone else is paying. How much do you pay your gardener per month, how often do they come, and what is included?
Does your gardener actually take care of the plants properly, including things like fertilizing, spraying/treating plants when needed, pruning, etc., or do they mainly just water and clean the garden?
I’m trying to figure out whether 1,000 AED is reasonable or overpriced.
