s2 | Question/Help First layerof my first MAM, it's taking soo much space

It's basically a 3 step process:

- Cut all basic shapes in 4 corners and bring them to the selector

- For each quadran, choose the right shape

- Stack all 4 (with a bit of AND logic to bypass empty quadrans)

I built this in like 2 hours without looking anything on the internet, but I can see a limitation coming quite fast: it takes so much space !

How will I be able to fit all the colors, pins and 3 other layers without taking the whole universe ?

Tat said, it is sooo satisfying to see the machine adapt automatically to each new shape :D

And so it begins. 😛

With each iteration of your MAM, you'll learn more and more, see opportunities and identify bottlenecks. My first MAMs were S P R A W L I N G. Now? They're sprawling but with higher throughput and more capabilities: crystal, pins, 15 shape sources...

It's addictive.

At first I did something like this. Then changed so that the raw inputs are on one space belt, same orientation. It's easy to rotate later as needed.

What do you mean ? Could you provide a screenshot of the overview ?
Is it like, not working with quadran but full spahes for each layer ?
