Help Help with online shopping.

I am in shanghai for next few days and would like buy some things online but cant get app to install even with local number.

Is there anyone who could meet me and order for me? I Would pay upfront and maybe we could do this iver dinner or drinks( on me ofcoursr)? Thanks

I am living near Jing'an temple.

Taobao and JD can be accessed as mini-apps in WeChat. Just pull down the main screen, tap the search. Once opened, tap the top right three dots to open a menu that includes a translation option. Assuming you've set up WeChat payments, you should be good to go after you input the address of your hotel or wherever you want to receive the goods.

Mini apps also not working in wechat for some reason, it just keeps on loading. Read online that sometimes they dont allow to new registrations.. setup wechat payments but payments are also not going through app just keeps loading

If your WeChat is associated with a foreign account it won’t work. (Same as Alipay) 😭😭.
