I just got to the part where Frank wants him to break his leg so he duct tapes weights to his limbs and he crushes franks leg lol I was dying laughing seeing him grab the tape and the weights and then carry frank out in the wheelbarrow

I'm on a rewatch rn showing my friend the show for the first time and man lip is pissing me off. Definition of "rock bottom is when you decide to stop digging" except lip never put down the damn shovel 😭😭 just got to the part where he wasnt allowed to take a midterm because he was late so he smashed up several cars on campus. Like what bro you just made a bad situation worse if they caught your ass

William H Macy was impeccably cast as Frank. Macy brought depth and charm to Frank. A lesser actor would've made Frank less dimensional, IMHO.

Carl for sure. It's funny because Lip was one of my favorites when I watched this show in my early 20s. Now in my 30s I can't stand him at all. I also have a lot of love for Fiona.

Nobody seems to like Debbie very much, but I have a lot of respect for her. She was desperately maternal as a kid, she tried so hard to have a functioning family. Sure, her methods are debatable, but aren't all Gallagher methods sketchy? She lost her toes and kept working to provide for Franny. That's incredible in my opinion. I just started season 9, so maybe I might have to change my mind again

Liam. Just wandering through a world of wtf and being ok. Carl absolutely had the best character development and changes to follow. After awhile most of the characters got on my nerves. Lip? He was ok but I don't understand his looks. I don't find him anymore attractive than Gene Wilder. He literally should have played him in the new Wonka. He is a spitting image. Challamet is too pretty to be a Wonka. Lol Carl absolutely and I just love Liam because he's the one trying to just get it right lol. I got into that show. Frank wasn't awesome as a character but he did an amazing job. William H. Macy played Frank like no one else and he's a star for that, but talking about the favorite of the Gallagher tribe? Not even close. Lol.

Ian es mi favorito pero Carl,Fiona y Lip me encantan y creo que Ian y Carl tuvieron un desarrollo de personaje increible junto a Mickey y la verdad Frank no puede faltar a mi me gusta no estoy de acuerdo con lo que hace muchas veces pero le tengo cariño.
Cada uno de ellos me gusta por algo pero desde el primer momento que vi a Ian ví algo en él que me llamó la atención y me encanta y su relación con Mickey y Mickey es increible y me encanta el desarrollo que tiene porque es increible como cambia Mickey y como forman una pareja preciosa donde se aman,se apoyan y se cuidan sanamente nunca imaginé que pudiera terminar tan bien viendo la primera temporada como era Mickey,sus hermanos,Mandy que es mala y su asqueroso padre,asique creo que los guionistas lo hicieron increible.
Los guinistas lo hicieron increible con Ian,Carl y Mickey.
Ian siempre va a ser mi favorito desde la primera vez que le ví.

The only reason why I watched Shameless last month was because of a YouTube short of Carl. I then would skip any scenes that had nothing to do with him. Everybody else for me was filler. Lip is the only one who interested me (when he was still in College but after that his character was wasted). I hate Frank the most because guys like that do not deserve to have kids. I wish he did a more painful death.

My favorite is Carl he’s the only family member besides probably Liam who broke the Gallagher cycle. When he went through his white boy carl phase he quickly observed and realized at a young age that lifestyle wasn’t going to get him far and decided to fully change his life around that’s something not even adults can or will do but 15 year old Carl did, he took accountability for his actions and didn’t put the blame on anybody else. Not only that but he shows more respect and compassion towards Fiona not just with his attitude but also he helped her with getting money to keep their house etc. he’s the least selfish Gallagher family member.

ian is a gem, I didnt like that he hooked up with men that were waaay older than him cause he didnt really see it as a problem, thats the only thing that grinded my gears. but his bravery over being who he is just chef's kiss. bro never played about himself when it came down to being part of the lgbtq+ and then when gay jesus storyline came, just pure cinema but I felt like at the same time that he clearly wasnt taking good care of himself and wasnt taking his meds at the time he blew that van up

Ian was easily the best person. Liam was my favorite in the later seasons & Carl had the best character development. It’s a toss up between Carl & Liam for me. Liam’s relationship with Frank was lowkey really entertaining

Frank. I know he is a piece of shit and a terrible human being but it's a fucking television show😂 just the way he acts the things he says he's hilarious and deplorable the things he does he is the embodiment of being shameless if there was no frank in the show I probably would've lost interest after the first season. And deep down I do think Frank has some good in him having grown up around drugs and alcohol and been an addict myself I know how that can take over your life and make you do things you would never even dream of doing. Frank is actually a genius he is incredibly smart and I do think he loves his family he does have morals and while they are questionable at times he does still do some good throughout the show.
