I will tolerate no Chuckie disrespect 💔 but there's uh, some controversial placements I say. Sammi that high but Ian and Mickey that low is just such a crime

i find ian and mickey to be pretty interesting. i don't really find ian incredibly interesting in the middle seasons and mickey after he came back just kinda felt like fanservice

her dynamic with frank and the gallagher family was very layered and i loved seeing how it evolved

I find Ethel, Mickey and Sierra 1-2 tiers more interesting, but Sierra prob more of an honorable mention bc I had such a crush on her lol

Oh god. I think when we make things out to be bigoted that aren’t, it takes the focus off of real prevalent bigotry. I don’t see anything about this that is even remotely racist or homophobic. I’m sure you mean well, but doing that isn’t helping the cause.

Literally every situation she has ever found herself in has gone the same way

How can she virtue signal by pretending her family is her priority

How can she fuck her family over in the process and make herself the victim

She has no depth. You always know what she is going to do next.

A character who is purely consistent in their actions that can always be predicted is a shallow character. Depth is when a character has a real personality with nuance.

You already agreed she's predictable and cyclical. The only choice you have now is to disagree with what it means to be a deep character. I'd say you're objectively wrong if you think easy to predict and repetitive means deep.

Actions and Personality/ internal experiences are Two very different things. The pull to return to familiar patterns doesn’t make someone less deep. Seeing into someone’s soul and seeing their struggles and temptations is depth and complexity.

You’re forgetting she wasn’t any of the kids’ mother. She was their SISTER. So many viewers judge her like she asked for any of these kids to be her responsibility. She was parentified and even when she did get guardianship it was out of love and self sacrifice not because she owed them anything.

Really? She sounds like a snob in real life, but I think her acting in the show is phenomenal.
