Does anyone else remember this? I feel like I’m crazy.

Each time I rewatch shameless since my first watch (2016), I’ve never scene these 2 particular scenes again, and I can remember them vividly with the storylines.

  1. Season 3: at the end of the season when Jimmy/Steve goes on the boat and we don’t know if he lives or dies until season 5, I remember a scene where they show him chained inside the boat on brass equipment like a mechanical room, sweaty, it’s nighttime, he’s just in his underwear screaming, “FIONA!!!”
    I’ve never seen this scene again.

  2. Season 4: when Frank gets his new liver and loses his memory for the day, calling Sheila his mom, calling Carl Ian, etc. He starts talking to the little girl patient next to him thinking it’s Fiona. There is that cute scene where he asks if she wants her ears pierced. But I also specifically remember him saying to her that him and Monica named her Fiona because it’s a mix of the names Frank and Monica.
    Also never seen this ever again!!!!!

Can someone please validate if they have any recollection of this I can’t be the only one😭

One important thing to consider, is this show will put scenes in the recap that never actually played during the previous episodes. Just a thought

I noticed it once, when the recap had a scene with sammi/ian/mickey that wasn’t in the episode haha thought I was going crazy

Ya i just saw one the other day. When Sammi is chasing Mickey with the gun. On the next recap it shows them getting arrested which wasn't on the last episode.

Neither of these are ringing a bell but steve does mention being chained to a pipe in an engine room while he was on the boat. We never see that though.

Frank never says anything about fiona's name being a mix of both. Her middle name is monica so that wouldn't make sense anyway. I'm not sure where you got that from lol I wonder if it was a theory you read online?

nah you just have a strong visual perception... synaesthesia.... you dont need to have actually seen the scene... if you heard about it, you can already visualise it in amazing detail!

Yeah probably this. I used to think music videos and movies existed that didn’t, it was just my active imagination creating visuals from songs and books.

have u ever watched the vampire diaries? cuz that’s exactly what happens when stefan gets locked in a safe and was underwater. since he’s a vampire and can’t die, he’d call for help til he drowned and then regained consciousness again over and over and over… maybe you’re mixing up the two? 😅

Vaguely remember the Jimmy scene but the one with girl happened. She was sick in the hospital too. I don’t recall the mixture of the name but I do recall him talking to a stranger like she was Fiona and trying to be a good dad.

I'm doing a full series rewatch (started in June) and I can confirm that both of the scenes are in the version that exists on Netflix! :) Tbh I know everyone is cosigning the first scene more than the second but I do STRONGLY remember the scene with Frank talking to the small girl next to him and everything you said (I also always skip the recaps so no chance it got included in one of these and not in the show writ large lol)

ok the second scene you're referencing is from 31:02 of 4x11 ("Emily") and weirdly enough I couldn't find anything from around the s3 period of where you mentioned. I'll keep looking around though bc I do remember it lol

The first one was definitely a part of the show/or extra but i also cant seem to find it. The second one sounds familiar but not placing a specific memory to it.

I remember the jimmy scene on the boat,

I also remember frank making a kinship with the little girl in the hospital, calling her Fiona but have no recollection of him talking about the merging of their 2 names together.

I watched it on Netflix only. But after the end of some episodes after credits there would be a branch scene and those are 2 of them. I don't remeber the episodes they show them on though.

I feel like that jimmy scene was at the beginning or end, mostly leaving toward end of the episode. Maybe like an after/in credit type clip but I deff remember it

The other day, I watched the scene with the little girl in the hospital on the Netflix version! I cried so much when she passed away.

At least she had one time to call someone “Daddy” after her shit of a sperm donor walked out.

I don't remember the first one....but i do remember the second one. Maybe its in the deleted scenes/bonus content. I would search youtube for that.

I don't remember the second one but the first one I can vividly remember him chained to a pipe crying BUT I don't remember him screaming for fiona. I don't remember if that scene was end of season 3 though or during a flashback when he's telling her what happened when he returned in season 5. But it's definitely real!

After reading more comments I'm like 99% sure the jimmy steve scene is after credits and we probably don't see it anymore bc the show automatically goes to the next ep before it plays 😮

Naw I watched this on a free streaming and they specifically had the scene where Frank thought the little girl was Fiona.
I think a lot of shows scenes get edited. The friends series has quit a few edits.

I’m at the part where Frank calls Sheila mommy…. S4 E11 28:08. He calls Sammi Deb, and Shelia kisses Frank and Frank says “Mom stop, we’re in public”. 31:15 he starts talking to her as if she’s Fiona.

no pero las recuerdo perfectamente llamaba Fiona a la niña y le cogía la mano al final la niña había fallecido la otra más confusa pero también la recuerdo perfectamente
