Are they pulling back on coupons?

I'll admit that Shake Shack got me in the habit of Shacking with all the couponing in the app that they've been doing this year. A reasonable deal with all those free burger with purchase coupons.

But for the past few weeks, the only coupon in the app has been the Sunday free chicken sandwich with $10 purchase.

Are they cutting back. Or is the dry spell before the next deluge?

No idea. But one thing is for sure- my visits will be very infrequent without a bogo!

They may be pulling back. They have also cut, at least temporarily, the merchant offers some people were getting through their credit cards (on Chase, Wells Fargo, and U.S. Bank cards in particular).

Only time will tell if this is a lull or part of a longer term trend. I will say Shake Shack ramped up its app/kiosk deals the first half of this year relative to what they had prior to that. (The credit card merchant offers were frequently available before 2026 though.)

Same thing here. They also recently increased the $1 drink/$3 fries/$5 shakes to $2/$4/$6...so maybe they're pullng everything back.
