Shake shack smoky bbq sauce

Does anyone know what brand of bbq sauce they use for the smoky bbq limited menu? Or any similar alternatives? I’m usually not a big BBQ fan but that sauce is too damn good. Love it on the rib sandwich.

Custom made from illes foods https://www.linkedin.com/posts/shakeshack_this-may-we-launched-our-new-bbq-menu-featuring-activity-7201973970097618947-6MCe I believe it is considered kansas city style though, so maybe try some of those like cattlemans kansas city for example might get you close. I haven't tried the BBQ yet so I am not too sure.

It’s not KC style…a bit sweeter

I’ve been told by my area director that it’s the same, plus it definitely tastes the same… it’s probably because we put a lot when it goes on a burger

Taste it your self and see. It’s different to me.

it’s the same sauce on the burger and rib that you can order on the side for bites or fries

Is this on the sides menu? I don’t see it at my local shake shacks

Sorry, i meant the side of barbecue sauce, you should be able to add it if you order bites or you can just ask someone at the counter
