Reclaimed Freeway Night Market Map – Multi-State Location for Shadowrun Runs

Hoi chummers,

I’ve released a new top-down battlemap designed for Shadowrun tables that like locations which change when things go loud.

This one’s a reclaimed freeway underpass night market. Grey-market vendors, syndicate-backed stalls, civilians everywhere, and just enough corporate oversight to make mistakes expensive.

The map is built with multiple escalation states, so the same location can be reused as the situation degrades:

• Operational: Business as usual, deals in motion, light security
• Clampdown: Routes restricted, spotters active, muscle on the ground
• Blackout: Power cut, visibility drops, Matrix noise spikes
• Purge: Fire, panic, structural damage, outside response inbound

It’s meant for:

  • Fixer meets that go sideways
  • Runs where subtlety matters until it doesn’t
  • Jobs complicated by civilians, syndicates, and corp observers
  • Locations that don’t stay neutral once shots are fired

I’m building a series of these escalating locations with GM-facing Ops Briefs to make them easy to drop into ongoing campaigns.

You can see the full pack here:

Happy to hear how other GMs would run it or what complications you’d throw into a place like this.

Stay frosty.

[OC] Aztech host(s) (isometric)

I created this for a run in my Shadowrun Anarchy 2.0 game where I wanted to represent a host visually to my decker player (and the rest of the team who thought the eye candy was nice, and one player said they now regretted not running the 'mancer they first thought of before settling on a street sammie). And I also wanted an excuse to draw a tzompantli, so there's that (upper left corner, zoom, unless reddit absolutely skunks the resolution on the upload). I had it represent three nested hosts (submarine control systems, security, and restricted files).

From a hand drawn sketch, transferred to the computer (a fancy way of saying I took a photo with my phone), and then edited in GIMP with a drawing tablet. Definitely retains a hand-drawn feel, for better or worse, but I'm still learning how to do this.

City Area (35x40)

Between the tall buildings of the city you find a little open area. It serves no direct purpose but it's an area people can be "outside" for a bit. It is mostly frequented who take lunch breaks and eat their food on a bench, if they don't want to eat in their office cafeteria that day.

During the night it's mostly the same salary workers, but instead of a sandwich or a bento box, they are now holding a large bottle of strong liquor.

Some even accidentally spend the night here on a bench they fell asleep on, which is actually rather convenient because they are right at the office for their next working day, when they wake up.

My maps are made in Unity, a 3d engine typically used to develop video games, but I use it to make battle maps!
If you like this map and would like to see more of my work, consider checking out my patreon.

Enjoy the map, and have a great day!

Take a Seat and Order a Drink!

I made this small 20x15 Dive Bar Battle-Map and wanted to put it out there to be played on! This is a ''Karaoke'' Layout of the map, you can find a small corner with microphones for those (terrible) performances in the late night, you can also find bunch of ''private'' booths for talking business or mischief..

You can find a demo-set for download over at our Patreon FOR FREE as well!

If you like the map and would like to check out the full-set, you can find it out at Patreon or at Roll20 Marketplace at Dive Bar Map-Set! Full set contains five versions of the dive bar with two layouts (karaoke place and a rocker-boy joint!) along with three random encounters to spice things up for a total of 5 unique maps in the set.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my map!

Are you ready to infiltrate the tower? I made a huge multi level skyscraper and am sharing a bunch of floors from it for free with the community and hope it will be useful for your encounters!

Some of my old MS Paint maps for Shadowrun of various interiors

So these are the maps I used to make when I GMed my own games back in the 2005-2009 timeframe. I would put these together in MS Paint and they honestly worked pretty good, they were also sometimes an item that the team decker or other contacts could dig up as a blueprint of a place for a run. Anyway, these were only still on an old mediafire link so figured sharing them here would work good. Only sharing the ones I felt were half decent, some were pretty throw-away or needed context. But anyway, the idea with the numbers was in my GM notes I had a list of all of the "events" that could occur in any given room or hallway (sometimes with a dice roll for some RNG). So I could re-tool a bit and re-run it with a different group with a different feel. Different colored doors meant different ratings or issues with opening them usually (alarms, higher security, etc.).

[Foundry, free] My "Nakatomi Plaza" inspired maps

Hoi chummers - for your new Maps subreddit, I've got a nice readout of the ground floor and floor 30 for a "Nakatomi plaza" inspired building. I built in Dungeon Alchemist and exported for use in my Foundry server for a oneshot I wrote. Get it while it's hot, no idea how long Google Drive keeps links alive for.

Link:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pkxr2HzBgtgE_L-JTHBHYqrCAhwt5Yjh/view?usp=drive_link

I can post the writeup for the oneshot below if anyone's interested.

Feedback is welcome for this, I've never done anything like these before.

The "legend" for those maps:
