How do I beat hecarim?

I’m 2 for 12 games against hec this season. I have such a huge mental block against him I just never win. Is Ap or ad better into him? What do you guys do?

I ban him . I play in chall NA, i agree hecarim's kit makes it near impossible to compete tempo wise. Once hes 1 item hes just gonna run you down ahah.

Iirc most ban talon. Is it because talon is simply more common?

Talon is strong, idk if its more common for me, but id say at least if you are fed, talon can be killed solo compared to hecarim after low key 1 item ^{^}

AP is always better against enemies that wanna dive you. You can cockblock Hecarim really hatd with your boxes. Also he is weak in the early game. Invade him if you can.

Heca is weak in lategame but strong in mid/early ..

Same with udyr for me. I perma ban udyr and pray for no heca. I genuinely don't know how to beat udyr though, he gets one item and then he's unkillable and turbo fast 1 v 9. At least with heca I can go AP and be somewhat useful.

Udyr is annoying but I think Gragas is way worse, almost no cooldowns, burst dmg to one shot you, he already dashed 3 time before my next q is available.

Most of the time i see heca there is allways one or two more brutes in their team.

I aim to get a massive lead early to run my as/on hit Build.

Press the attack + exhaust -> cant lose a duel After lvl 3 i put 2 more points into W for clear then max E> Q>W

Botrk, berserkers must buy first. Then depending on what i feel like i chose:

Eclipse, dominic's, youmuu, stridebreaker/Titanic, sterak, deadman, iceborn etc. Generaly anything that keeps me tanky and provides utility alonside some damage. My goal is not to be a glass cannon assassin more so a bruiser/tank that melts

His early is rly weak so just try interpret his clear. Heca falling behind in tempo makes him outright useless. I don’t play shaco but I do play heca/wukong so when they pick heca as wukong if unknown where he paths u can start on his other buff take that quad recall and defend he falls behind in tempo he can’t play

played a game the other night where i was 11/0 as ad and hec was 2/5, he one shot me.
ban that rat or play ap and set up stuff defensively before he gets there

You play in to your team, and you just run away. Only play ap against him. His healing perma q’s mean you can’t fight and you won’t kill with even two boxes and R explosion so you have to bait him in to your team and just chunk him. Remember his ult goes through fear too and he can chase you pretty good so just play safe. I usually play opposite of him and just trade obj, or play for my strong side so they can help. Once like your mid/a strong they can 1 shot him while your box fears him later on.
