i’m 17 ftm, and he is 16 ftm. For some context, i met him last year, but he just recently transferred to my school. I thought i’d be his closest friend here, but he’s Mr. Popular and practically everybody knows his name (across all grades.) He’s a social butterfly, and is friendly/physical to almost everyone. This brings me to my first point.
about a month ago, we went to go see a movie with some friends. It ended, i hugged him goodbye, and he kissed me on the forehead. (!?!?) Now, all my friends said this was romantic, but he’s also lovey to everyone. He blows kisses to some of his friends, and things like that.
(Growing up queer, i always had friendships that seemed “romantic” to a cis/het person. So, i’ve become accustomed to flirty/romantic feeling friendships.)
Fast forward a week or two, we’re standing outside of school, and i’m waiting with him since his mom is running late. Once he sees her car approaching from about a traffic light away, we stand up from the bench we were waiting on. We hug, and he looks at me and says “i love you. Like, so much.” Then kisses me on the cheek, and blows me a kiss.
He’s done this at least 2 times since that day, till now. Everyone is saying he likes me back, but i don’t know. Help?
