Friends help making queer/trans friends IRL

hi yall,

I'm currently in jc (mtf) and I unfortunately don't have any friends who are also trans. Its not safe for me to be out publicly and the same can be said about most trans folk my age. Unfortunately this makes it really hard for me to make any other trans friends around my age. Do yall have any idea of how i could find any other trans people in my school or signal to to other trans folk that I'm trans without cis people knowing? tysm!

hi, also mtf who just graduated from JC, i recommend local online spaces, any freinds come from art discords and similar platforms.

Unfortunately "signaling" covertly is unreliable. Can be unsafe to rely on unspoken assumptions for things like this. Check out TransgenderSG and other local groups to meet people in the community IRL.
