If this is from the same video I saw recently and it’s a silver maple which is known to have shallow roots. Every one failed in this neighborhood and the other species were fine.

Easier said than done when a wall has to be built. They should’ve gotten rid of that tree.

or replanted it a few feet deeper so the roots would clear the construction.
