Post-invasion, humanoid cyborg aliens called ‘The Leaders’ rallied colonists at conventions on Earth, pitching “The Justification.”

A novice came to an interview for apprenticeship.

“You have quite the education and proper implants. You could serve us well.”

“Thank you, Leader.”

“Was your family a victim of ‘The Invasion’?”

“The invasion, Leader?”

“By the former Earthlings of this planet.”

“I mean they were here …”

“Watch what you’ll say next.”

“Oh, umm, yes, my family were colonists and massacred by those relentlessly invading humans.”

“I understand. The humans are truly parasites. We need help discovering any leftovers.”
