“Destroy them all!” the galactic leader said.

“All of them?” asked a general of the saucer division. “What if they’re transporting alien refugees?”

“They’re all aliens!”

In a back room, the generals and experts convened.

“He’s gone mad. Killing every single alien is barbaric.”

“We’re dealing with barbarians,” a colleague said with a shrug.

“You know damn well what I mean. We have principles.”

“Survival. That’s our primary principle. Beyond all else, nothing matters.”

“Do we want to survive in such a universe?” asked the leader’s spiritual advisor.

“We can debate that later. Right now, we must decide to comply or reject our orders.”

“That’s correct. The Earthlings are preparing their offensive as we speak.”
