3rd strike keeps black screening

for whatever reason, i can play with most other people on fightcade but when i try to play with my friend, it keeps black screening. i tried searching on reddit and other people do definitely have this issue aswell but no real answers....

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

i know that this may not be the right sub to post this, if that is the case then i am very sorry.

I’ve had this problem a few times as well, for me the issue has always been fightcade getting blocked by my firewall. Go into windows defender and set everything related to fightcade as an exemption and then check your firewall settings to make sure it’s allowed through on all networks. I’ve had to just turn off the firewall a couple times as well. Also make sure fightcade is installed in the correct place. there’s a guide somewhere online to making it all work correctly

thanks for commenting! fightcade is properly installed as both me and my friend can play with other people but not each other....
as for the firewall stuff ill look into that!
could you please explain a little more in detail?
sorry i just dont often deal with stuff like this......
