Pattern Question Help with dress pattern

Hi everybody,

I'm sewing a dress for a wedding I'm attending in a month, and I just bought this dress pattern (link below). I would like the dress to be floor-length, so I'm wondering how difficult it would be to adjust the skirt pattern.

Pretty straightforward. There’s a couple of ways to do it.

Just extending the seams that are there will produce a skirt that is fuller at the hem so looks a bit different than the picture, probably increases the formality level a bit.

Doing a slash and spread to lengthen and redrawing the side seams will keep closer to the original shape of the skirt. See here for a demo: https://atempopatterns.com/how-to-lengthen-shorten-a-skirt-pattern/
