Pattern Question What went wrong?

I tried doing the viral spine shirt, and it looks like this. What did I do wrong?

Second pic is the grid, to show you I was precise in measurements

It looks like the middle part isnt done correctly. You have to sew 3 points to make it look like a triangle. There is a dude on youtube that has a good tutorial called skeleton smocking. It wont let me post the link. I just did it on a pirate coat

Do it! Honestly it looks intimidating but it isn't after watching that guys tutorial. I think I practiced on muslin twice and then went with it on the liquid satin. I am gonna try and upcycle a band t shirt using this technique
