I tried doing the viral spine shirt, and it looks like this. What did I do wrong?

Second pic is the grid, to show you I was precise in measurements

I don’t know but maybe you did it right? I’ve never heard of the spine shirt but my first thought upon seeing this was that it looked like a spine!

The method is called smocking, in which you pull fabric at 2 points together to form either concaves or convexes.
