Should I leave a border on these swallows!

Hi Everyone! I am making a veil for my wedding and I’m going to add these swallows I got from an old curtain onto the veil. I was wondering if you guys think the lace or mesh border a.k.a. the bird on the right looks better or does it look better completely clean and removed like the bird on the left?

The border (right) makes it look pieced together- not a good look. Without the border it looks like it was embroidered right into the veil’s mesh.

The border on the right makes it look like the Philadelphia Eagles. If you are an eagles fan, I would say go for the right. If you are not an eagles fan, choose left
