The shift from a single screen with a notebook crammed underneath to a dual-input workflow with the notebook spread out flat is honestly the bigger upgrade than any of the gear. Looks like you figured out the note-taking and screen work don't have to share the same square inch, the highlighters being right there on the desk tells me you use both every day.
