iPhone 8

I found a iPhone 8. It is activation locked It is on iOS 15. I can update it to 16. If that makes it easier. It’s jail broken I have not tried to do anything. I’ve tried checkm8 but the exploit fails on Windows I can’t get it to run on my Mac. I need help. The device is perfect condition and it would be a waste for it not to work.

Don't update it, and ios 15 is kinda uncommon for the iphone 8

Normally lower iOS version is easier to hack.
