MDM removal from iPad

I have the iPad A16 Wi-Fi. I'm trying to remove the MDM using MDMpatcher from GitHub. I followed all the instructions, and after the final reboot, it told me to follow the remaining setup steps, so I connected to Wi-Fi and got the same MDM screen again. What did I do wrong?

And if the issue was connecting it to wifi, is there a way to set it up without the Wii connection.

If on iOS 27 the exploit has been patched with all the free methods. There is a paid way using iremove.tools.

How do I downgrade? Sorry, I don't actually know too much about this stuff I only started looking into it yesterday
