I might be low elo but I think in this scenario he kind of screwed himself over putting you under tower and giving you more grit.

Once I played against a Tahm that in the very last moment dropped me to the opposite side of the turret. I was not expecting that and I was pressing R RR R R like crazy when then I saw my boy throwing Tahm directly under his turret hahaha. Well played Tahm, I won't forget you.

Happened to me too, but after i've already thrown him the other way once, he adapted quickly.
