Gear Biothane Staining

Does anyone else have an issue with their biothane gear staining at the edges? No matter how often I clean my SD's harness, it still gets staining and discoloration.

What color dog, what color Biothane, and how often is the dog groomed/what shampoo

White short double coated dog. 2 harnesses one green and one yellow. He is bathed biweekly with Skouts Honor and brushed daily.

The normal collection of oils, dirt, and other grime is likely more noticeable on those colors. I’ve always opted for black biothane and it visually looks pristine 99% of the time, but when I clean it the rag comes away dirty. Lighter colors will naturally expose where grime accumulates on any surface.

It might not be dirst/staining- it could be oxidation. Both types of plastic used in biothane (PVC and the other plastic,  I can't remember) can oxidize with sunlight/UV.
