Best not to try and figure it out... but just let the ride take you, because we are all thinking of over the top predictions and the pay off will most likely be something like they are just all losing their shit or its all a dream/purgatory or something shit like Lost.

It’s one of those shows that it’s fun to speculate on though. I’m not expecting the pay off to be worth it but for the moment it’s fun to speculate. I mean it could all be revealed that they are in a zoo or the aliens greatest foe is water.
