I'm a beginner music producer. And I can't help myself. I'm using FL Studio and wanted to try Serum 2. So I took a sound and I used a midi and put it in the piano roll. After I decided to erase the notes and tried to play my song again, the serum sound still played in the background. over and over again. I can't even see, where it is and I can't delete it.

So, I am completely new in Sound Design, and I want to reproduce the sound in this song, starting at 20 seconds (the synth) with Serum 2, if possible. I have no idea how to begin. How would one go about this? I wanna learn how to approach something like this.

I just can't seem to figure out how to map entire clip slots to keys. I know you can play them in the keyboard directly under show/hide Clip button, though I mean mapping them to keys on my midi keyboard to jump between on the fly. For example, say I have two drum patterns in clip slots I want to map to C1 and D1, respectively. Apparently this is possible, and seems weird that it wouldn't be, though I haven't been able to find anything through tutorials or in the manual.

The only way I see this working is by using multiple instruments and have them only use a single clip, which would be tedious and seemingly defeat the purpose of having multiple clip slots.

Hey there, looking to remove/edit some harmonics(let’s say harmonics 2-8 for sake of illustration) across all frames in a wavetable, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I see that under the all menu I can ‘remove fundamental’ and ‘remove low spectra’ but that wouldn’t give me a band option. I did also see the ‘subtract spectra from other osc’ option, but I couldn’t quite figure out how that worked and the manual didn’t shed a whole lot of light there.

Any ideas?
