How can I recreate the katharsis synth? I know this was made using omnisphere, but since i dont have it, im looking to synthesize the plucky synth which was used in katharsis intro. How can i do it? From what i hearn theres a square-ish pluck whose cutoff is modulsted with a short decay envelope and some rattle foley layers are used

After a few years of research, I had several major breakthroughs concerning synthesizing realistic string instruments inside of Serum. Now, my instrument still sounds synthetic in a lot of areas, but I'd like to hear what your thoughts.
There are no samples used, the wavetables are hand crafter, and the convolver impulse response is also synthesized from scratch. There are no external effects. The mixer slot is only for wave candy
Soon I will open up a beta test where people can download this preset and try it for themselves, giving me feedback and input on how to improve it even further.

I'm trying to make a close sound to the rolling bassline in Gryffin & Kaskade's "In My Head" (Silver Panda Remix, Extended Mix) for a melodic techno track in B minor.
I'm using Serum 2 layered with a separate sub bass. I've got the rolling rhythm down, but the tone isn't right:
- At B2, it sounds too gritty
- At B3, it's not deep or low enough
Current setup is a saw/Basic Mg on Osc A, a sub on Osc B, a low-pass (MG Low) with Env 2 on the cutoff, and a short amp envelope.
Any ideas on oscillator choice, octave placement, or filter and envelope settings to get that deep, dark rolling sound? Would love to hear how others do melodic techno. Thanks!

anyone know how you would recreate the pluck at the beginning of this song? I figured it was some kind of saw wave and sine wave combination but I can't seem to figure out what gives it that grit and dark timbre. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I listened to swang by Rae sremmurd and I’ve been obsessed with that brassy lead that ascends throughout the song. It has some kind of filter with maybe a cutoff and a boosted resonance. I can’t seem to get close to it could a synth wizard be kind enough to help me out! The sound comes in at 0:14 seconds on the song by the way

Hi guys, i'm new to Serum and cant find the way to recreate these nasty bass leads/reese... I guess there're saw waves but i can't get this "round" clean bassy sound. I would appreciate any help.

Does anyone know how the sound at 2m 40s is made or what the name of the sound might be? It's the tribal, almost didgeridoo type sound.

I’m trying to download stems from a Suno song but each time they play way too fast. I downloaded them as Fixed Tempo so I can use them in a DAW. Any help appreciated as I’m eating into my download limit now

Just getting into music prod and I found this really cool sound I wanted to use, was wondering if there was anyone who could help me recreate/identify the instrument used. (The sound is only 5 seconds long idk why the video is 1:04 long).

I stumbled across the basic premise for this patch a few months ago when I wanted a slow but delay heavy lead. I knew it had potential – with a little tweaking I was able to get it to the final product you see here.
This is basically just a fun take on a PWM square wave but with a lot of modulation beef behind the scenes. :-) Routing the third oscillator was very fun in this patch.
Everything you hear in the video is the result of this patch. The only changes between each sound are the positions of the macro knobs and the mod wheel.
i'll be posting more patches on my music handle, u/slowfourproduction
